Our Emergency Services program provides food, personal care items, and short-term financial help with housing and utilities. The program also provides referrals for other needed social services. Our target population is low income, homeless and individuals/families facing crisis situations who reside in Davidson county and surrounding counties. This program serves approximately 10,000 individuals per year and consistently ranks in the top five providers on United Way’s “211″ information and referral service.
We are pleased to serve as a Second harvest Food Pantry in two locations:
Residents who reside in 37211, 37220, 37027, 37013 in need of food pantry assistance may visit us at: 526 Paragon Mills, in Nashville –
Mondays 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.; and, Wednesdays 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Residents who reside in 32707 may visit us at our Magness Potter Community Center location, 611 Stockell St., in Nashville –
Monday – Thursday 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
When visiting Food Pantry locations, please bring with you:
Proof of identification for all household members; proof of address.
Clients served by our Food Pantries are eligible to receive assistance three times within a six month period.
